I am Galen Sonntag and I will be your guide to the world's best waterfowl hunting.
Here in East Central Saskatchewan we are the staging area for the fall migration of many of the major species of migratory birds including Canada Geese, Snow Geese, Specklebelly Geese, Sandhill Cranes, Mallards, Pintails, canvas backs, Widgeons, Gadwalls, spoonbills, and a variety of other ducks.
We can set up for a variety of hunting experiences, to match your preferences. We are fully
equipped with the gear you will need to have a successful hunt whether you prefer field shoots, pass shooting, back shooting, hunting over water, or a run and gun opportunities. We can mix up the hunting style over the course of your stay with us to provide variety.
We are constantly on the watch for the bird movement patterns to identify locations and placements to maximize your hunting opportunity.
While you hunt with us, rest assured we will take care of the arrangements for your stay at Champetre Lodge, including meals and
accommodations. Champetre Lodge is well known in the area for it's outstanding hospitality and rustic setting, without sacrificing your comfort.

birds. We are situated right underneath
one of the major North American flyways,
just 35km east of Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan. The mixed agriculture and
prairie pothole terrain provides both
food and shelter for thousands of birds
on their way south.
